BEDALE & VILLAGES CHILDREN’S CENTRE (www.northyorks.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=6531&contactid=6775) in the building at the back of the Hall, accessed through the archway or via the park. Sure Start children’s centres are the focal point for early years services. Every family with children up to the age of 5 and prospective parents have access to a range of services through their local Sure Start children’s centre.

Bedale Volunteer Bureau
The Bureau is a project of Northallerton and District Voluntary Service Association. The Bureau Organiser recruits volunteers from all walks of life and then matches them to a volunteering opportunity which is suitable to their interests and wishes. Practical support offered to voluntary and statutory organisations in the area.

TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE (TIC) at the rear of the Hall
The Tourist Information Centre is managed and run completely by volunteers; it is well stocked with leaflets about places to visit both locally and around the region.  It is open from Easter to October half term from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. From October half term to mid December and February half term to Easter it opens on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. (It is closed from mid December to February half term.)
